I am aware of that I am speaking more things like print preview etc. What a kludge.

Being on by default.

It is a Foxpro -3.0 feature (fox 2.0 - 2.6) and really has no place in windows in my opinion. Since they have not dealt with the problem in over 8 years and I suspect so internal to some VFP Development Enviroment stuff you have left over problems like VFP 8.0 not being able to handle Foxuser.dbf problems gracefully. I would have never thought to look at the Foxuser file to be some of the cause of the blowups that this thread was started on.

I will assure you on 9.0 I will go back to the my prior to VFP 8.0 sentinments. Purchase after SP1 ships.

What ben makes tracks for what wil be. Words in the air pirnt foot steps on the groun for us to put our feet in to.
