This special session will be moderated by Midwest FoxPro User Group President, Doug Carpenter. Doug is currently teaching one of the VFP Boot Camp sessions and will also be doing a presentation at the Essential Fox conference.

Beginning at 6:30 the session will begin with some short introductions. Doug will ask each panelist his/her opinion on a series of pre-selected questions. We will be asking the other panelists and crowd members to allow to each panelist to speak without interruptions. There will be a 15 minute break midway thru the session and the entire session is anticipated to conclude around 9:30pm.

Here is an estimate of how the meeting would go in a perfect world.
Start at 6:30 pm
Intro 10 minutes,
Question 1 25 minutes
Question 2 25 minutes
Question 3 25 minutes
Break 15 minutes
Question 4 25 minutes
Question 5 25 minutes
Last Question 30 minutes
Total Time 180 minutes
This will give each individual approximately 2 minutes and 45 seconds to respond. The last question (Say “anything” you want to say to the FoxPro Community) will be about 3 minutes and 20 seconds.

Anyone in the KC area that is interested in VFP should seriously consider attending this very special event.

>>Great job of mentioning a very nifty get together as a precursor to the Essential Fox Conference 2003. I am going to be covering the panel discussion for the UT and fully expect to have my report in Mike Fournier's hands by the end of the evening. Maybe some pictures too! This is a great opportunity for any developer (whether or not they are going to attend the conference) to listen to some of the top speakers in the Visual FoxPro community. This is a very special format that will allow these "gurus" the chance to get up on their respective soap boxes and "say what's on their mind". Should be fun.
