when I needed a fast way to execute a 16-Bit exe
in NT with it's own memory space, I went with
calling a .lnk file.

I faced into similar problems, and since it
was for an inside-debugging job, I didn't wnat to spent
more time than necessary: itwas possible
to RUN a batchfile which called the link.

not pretty, but not much work either...
