I'm not committed to switching. AFP has worked fine for me. However, When there is a similar product out there that is FREE. It's hard to pass up. My site will work just fine the way it is for some time to come, but when it comes time to upgrade, or expand, I'm sure I would consider activeVFP. Since, it is free, there will probably be a much larger user community.

For instance, I very seldom see any threads here regarding AFP, while the activevfp group seems to be growing.

From what I have been able to find out, the activeVFP seems simpler to install than AFP. For the most part they seem very similar in the basics.
