I would - and so would many other people in 3rd. World countries. And anyone potential member, in any country, would be reluctant to pay up-front - thinking, the owners of the Universal Thread want me to pay money without having a decent chance to evaluate the merchandise first.

I suggest you explore some of your other ideas - I remember that your original posting had several ideas, apart from the "nominal charge". And please remember, my original protest was only against the "nominal charge" - not against your other ideas. I might still protest against them later, if I obtain a better understanding of what you are proposing <g>.
