How do you pass a parameter from one ASP.NET form to another?

I have an HTML table on one page. I want to set the text of each table cell such that click on any cell would open another page. The called page would display information based on the table row/col of the calling form table. Therefore, I need to pass a parameter indicating where the click origins.

What is the syntax of creating a HTML link text with an argument to be passed to another form?

Do I get the parameter in the called form's PAGE_LOAD method?

Thank you for any suggestions or help.
