All,

I am having a problem with 2 things and need some help figuring out why. First I have a aspx website on a computer at an office that I have moved to my home computer. The website works great except I can't access the code through visual studio.net. Both computers are running Windows XP Pro w/ IIS 5.1. When I open the project I get the following error message:

Unable to get project file from webserver. Unable to open web project "/". The file path e:\website does not correspond to the URL http://localhost. The two need to map to the same server location. HTTP error 404: Object not found.

The second problem I am having is when I create a new virtual folder called test and create a new web project in VS.Net I get the following error:

The default web access mode for this project is set to file share, but the project folder at http://localhost/test cannot be opened with the path e:\test. The error returned was:
Unable to create web project test. The file path e:\test does not correspond to the URL http://localhost/test. The two need to map to the same server location. HTTP Error 404: Object not found.

What am I doing wrong that I am getting these messages?
Thanks

Jim
