First, you don't have to export the proxy to client machine, i find that using the classID with createobjectEx() is much more convenient since you don't have to install anything on the client machine.

I have the same problem even without installing a proxy. see Thread #761644 Still no answer from Mike, i still cannot create a 100% repro code it seems that the problem occurs randomly.

Do you have a repro scenario ?
