Is there any function for VB to translate a long filename (including file path) to a Dos format? Cause I have plugged a Visio Viewer to my application, but the property to import the file is only accept short filename (dos format), so actually now I want to store the long filename to the database, and translate it back to dos format and assign it to the viewer when the user decide to show it on the screen.
