I dislike bringing up this old topic but…
This is related to Server 2003.
> Microsoft, keen on gaining a stronger foothold in corporate data centers, plans to spend as much as $250 million to promote the product.
http://zdnet.com.com/2100-1104-998311.htmlWe do not control the marketing budget for Microsoft but marketing of VFP is a sore point. Yes, we know why – to some extent. It is the old “Cinderella” story – sort of. Oh well, it is all about the big bucks and that is what business is centered upon. A few crumbs dropped towards VFP would be so nice!
Actually, things have improved to a measurable extent when it comes to VFP Marketing, thanks to Ken Levy. I hate to be an ingrate but I would like to see more done to promote this product! Think I will put that on MY wish list! Perhaps it could be a part of "the next Service Pack"! :)
