Has anyone had to deal with sending EPL1 code directly to Eltron printers on Windows XP? I've been trying to send code using the '???' command directly to an LP 2824 via COM1 but all I get is garbage. Tech support suggested I use the 'generic' windows printer driver, I've tried that but all that happens is a form feed. The code worked with an older model on windows 98, it was an LP 2240 I believe.

Any suggestions or past experiences someone can share?
