This has been revised in the Chatter - Universal Thread Related Topics category over the last few days. That approach is not good as you refer to an index ID. Just update your code to work with the form name instead. We usually do not change the form name. So, if we change something in the HTML page, by adding additional forms and such, it won't affect you.
