I'm not sure how to do this in a grid, but if it was simply a control on a form, set up a new form property with access and assign methods. In the access method, get the datetime field from your cursor and ttod() it. In the assign method, replace the field with dtot() of the property's value. Then, set the control's controlsource property to this new property.
