I have the same problem, DBI has only said that it is because of the way VFP handles OCX controls. Using Visual Basic, I don't get the problem, so it seems that they are correct. Unfortunatly, they don't plan to fix it on their side. So now, in my user manual, I have a statement that says, "Click your mouse on the calender to activate the pointer."
