I'm glad you are set up so nicely that you never need to open a project that is in production, and double click on a form having production tables in DE to open it. Obviously, Fox Ridge is different than BCRTC.
I'm sorry, but I don't see what VSS has to do with the subject?
In any case, I know there are ways to get around the problem, but that does not mean the problem does not exist.

I believe that should be faster than having the same files on a drive on the server (unless you've got a really awful PC). On top of it all, you'd never have seen this problem ;).
