Hi,
To set the the workfile locations is done in config.fpw file. examples below.

tmpfiles = c:\temp ; or where ever u want it
sortwork = c:\temp
progwork = c:\temp
editwork = c:\temp
resource=c:\temp\foxuser.dbf ;or where ever u want it

Also set the data location in yourapp.ini

[DataLocation]
Database=x:\yourapp\data ; or where ever u have the dbc located

Using this over a dial up will be risky as disconnects WILL cause corruption.
You would be better using Terminal Server or the like, as all processing is done on the server, and only the screen image transfered to the remote. In the event of a disconnect, the process is still running on the Terminal Server, so u can just relogin and continue on from where u were disconnected.

Note: Terminal server sets up separate temporary work space for each session running.

Hope this helps.
