If one argues that all marketing is good for business, then it would seem that an article questioning MSFT's new VFP EULA by a respected development magazine would go a long way...

On the other hand, some bad marketing can really backfire!

Given that most of the people here on the UT do not work in Microsoft's legal department (or even Microsoft in general), I think you are misplacing the brunt of your energy and anger. If you truly wish to pester someone for an answer, then I would suggest you contact Microsoft directly about this issue to get an answer that you are satisfied with. I honestly don't think there's a need to further challenge the UT community for an answer that the community has no realistic way of granting you.
