I have had VFP crashes in the past where files being edited remained in the temp directory. If VFP crashed at the same time you got the error, there is a possibility that the SCX and SCT files will remain as TMP files in the temp directory. See if there is anything there from that time with the tmp extension. If you closed VFP normally, the tmp files should be automatically deleted. You would need to look in the temp directory on the client machine, not on the server.

After a power outage, I was once able to rename 2 temp files and give them frx and frt extensions and retrieve a report, saving about an hour of work I had done on it.

>Friends, I was modifying a form from a proyect wich is running as an EXE in my office when suddenly the server runs out of space (a partner with some heavy querys) just in the moment of saving the form. Result ... the disaster. The SCX file from mi form was cut to 5% of its original size, I can't open my form anymore and I had not a project backup (yea I know). There's no trace in the server (NT 4) of the lost archive.
