You may notice this behavior due to the capitalistic way of thinking that is the basis of our country. Most people feel you don't get something for nothing and that is why people post the rude answers. The problem is they don't think to the rationale for their response and don't look to the fact this is a give and take forum. You post questions, other people help you. Other people post questions, you help them. A barter system if you will.

Once the ignorant people who post such responses realize that they aren't actually giving away information but are actually engaging in a sort of trade of information then maybe the rude posts will stop.

Since I don't think that enlightenment is going to happen anytime soon, maybe someone should just tell them that if they don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all.
