Omar,

I agree with you in that I thought that there was something a little bitter in the response to his question, but like the others here I felt he was asking for someone to do the work. All the work. "Code" doesn't always mean a couple lines in a PRG or a method - it can imply functionality including forms, objects and classes. I took his question to be asking for a working form based on his requirements. Though I agree that the reponse could have been toned-down, I think the request would have been better recieved had there not been so many exact specifics of fields, validations, etc. There are absolutely wonderful examples of code that come with VFP and I think if it had appeared that this person had attempted to develop and then was looking for some help in getting it to work everything would have turned out differently. It appeared he wanted his funtionality created for him.

>>Don't get me wrong, but I couldn't just read this and let it go.

>>I haven't been a member for such a long time as you have, but I must say that I have never ever found a place like this. I get help from everywhere, included North Americans. Maybe I'm really lucky, and honestly I've always been, but none of my posts got an arrogant answer, on the contrary, I could feel people engaged in directing me to solve my problems.

>>I went to have a look at the thread you mentioned ( thread #776925 ) and just had a good laugh at it. It was unbelieveable. The guy was even giving the structure and saying the options he wanted acomplished. At first, I thought it was an "english" comunication problem, I understand this very well, sometimes we think in a way in our own language and then express ourselves in a completely unproper way after translating our ideas. ( I'm probably doing this right now ).
>>But then I went on and saw that he, himself, was the one being arrogant.
>>It doesn't sound good to say : Hey, this is my table structure. Send me code for a complete data entry form with "this" and "that" conditions. Does it ?
>>I was hoping to find a Date and Time schedulled to deliver the job, so I could just laugh my lungs out.
>>
>>Another thing that I don't understand. Surely you could have promptly written the code to him and none of this would have happend.
>>
>>Anyway, I had to be honest with all the people that help me here, as I'm always the one in trouble, and the only way to show I'm thankful was to stand by them.
>>
>>Abraços.
