Good morning Jim;

How goes the day?

These are a few thoughts on this subject and as you can see they are not aimed at you! :) I have done a cc to Omar.

With the number of participants and UT members residing in the United States, is it any wonder someone in another country will point a finger at us? The “Twit Filter” is the ultimate equalizer!

By the way for those persons for whom English is a third language, you may not be able to communicate with those who English is the first language. You may not understand or convey what you wish. You may respond to something that was not meant or stated. This is true of anyone who is not well conversant in one or more languages. There are people who only speak English (in one of its many existing forms) who make little or no sense. English speaking individuals are not in an exclusive club when it comes to not being understood. This goes for anyone. Personality and mental balance also come into play.

Remember only a small percentage of what is written is understood – perhaps 6 -13% depending upon which study you wish to take into account. Before you (third person singular) criticize another person be sure of your facts. If you have questions attempt to obtain clarification. Making up your mind because of misunderstanding only results in an emotional experience in which no one wins.

Since we are an international community we should take an extra step to attempt to understand others.

Tom

>>I have been member of the Universal Thread since 1997 and I am still amazed when I see arrogant answers to people who are asking for information:
>>"This is improper to ask","You should pay for this"," This is not a free world"
>>This input is exclusively coming from people for the US. Is this because this people think they are superior because they live in MS homeland or what?
