Hi Tamar,

It appears you've hit the nail on the head... When I replace a 0 as expression in the 2nd part of the Union Clause with a 'real' Integer Field (the corresponding field in the 1st part of the Union clause is an Integer Field) the problem goes away. This is all fine except I need to have a 0 in the 2nd part's Field. INT(0) didn't work. How can I set a 0 value into the second SQL part of the UNION which will work in VFP 8?

BTW I'm using the 7.0 SQL Data Engine.

P.S. When are we going to see Hackfox 8 (Your books are INVALUABLE!)
