Actually this seems to have all the stuff I need to do what I need to do, but how do you add the class java.lang.Thread and initiate the hamsam.protocol.yahoo.YahooProtocol to be able to use the yahoo functions in a Visual Foxpro program? I am kind of at a loss here on how to get the class added to my project and use the functions it contains.

http://hamsam.sourceforge.net/javadoc/hamsam/protocol/yahoo/YahooProtocol.html might help you out. I also know that the miranda ICQ gizmo on sourceforge has a yahoo protocol plug in, so that might help you out as well. Do you need to just SEND messages, or do you need to see contact list and recieve messages as well?
>I am working on a program and would like to provide a user access to log into and send messages (IM) to a specified person logged into yahoo messenger from within my program and give the ability to send contents of text boxes etc. to the user via Instant Message. Does anyone know how to integrate yahoo messanger into visual fox programs and work with it in these ways as stated?
