When you get the CM Setup form, you can navigate to the LAN directories (of course they have to be network shares) for the shared and common directories and just select them. CM then places the UNC path into the PC's registry. The local path is on the local PC, so it wouldn't make sense to have a UNC for that. It's really pretty transparent.

I had to write a 300+ page documentation set for a customer once upon a time. It literally took me me a few months to get it the way I wanted (eventhough I used a good tool to do it). That was a very hard task. Writing programs and spec'ing out systems is a piece of cake compared to that. ... so you have my sympathies (but I'm still waiting <bg>).
