>If you need a job, too bad! If you are working good for you! To be a success under Republican economic models, every dog must take care of him/herself. Start barking to express your acceptance of this wonderful period. Just remember this is nothing new that we are experiencing. The economy is as it should be. Bow wow!

Tom don't you think High to Low and Low to High unemployment will happen no matter what the government does? I think if you look at the economy you will see a cyclical pattern where the technological and inovation changes creates a need for workers and then a few years down the road that segment is no longer needed and jobs die off, but is usually followed by another segment that needs workers. Is 6% bad, yes if you are part of that group, but the other side of the coin is that 94% are employed. Through re-training (both mental and ego) part of that 6% can find that segment of the economy in which they are needed.

I will also tell you that if you want to work, I mean really work, you can find work. The problem is most people filter what is out there in the way of jobs through their ego and pride and choose not to work period. Thus out of the 6% how many do not really want to get off the statistic road.
