Hi Godfrey,

I wrote:

"You DO NOT use (because you can't) all the facilities provided by the framework to create a new application, don't you? So every time you create a new application you have to build a menu from scratch, instantiate an application object, the managers, the environment, an equivalent to setup.prg, main.prg, etc. all from the application subclasses and with no "wizard" or previous template?. Or, instead, you created your own Qstart or Generic project equivalent (or, at least, a Setup.prg equivalent based on, for example, the very framework's Setup.prg)?".

I mean: due to the fact that you have subclassed the framework (don't mind if 20 or 100%) I ASSUME YOU CAN NOT BUILD A NEW APPLICATION USING QSTART. Am I right? (Because the Generic project classes -the a*.vcx ones- points to the framework's classes as all the references in Qstart.app). BUT you might have been created YOUR OWN Qstart and/or Generic template which pointed to YOUR OWN subclasses. Have you done something like that?

ANOTHER APPROACH: Could you tell me what steps do you perform every time you have to build a new application?

Remember why I wrote this message in the first instance: I DID NOT FIND A WAY OF SUBCLASSING THE FRAMEWORK AND -AT THE SAME TIME- BE ABLE TO USE QSTART.APP AND THE GENERIC PROJECT.

If you need further explanations please tell m with no doubts. Don't forget english is no my language and I don't get to express myself as I'd wish.

Thanks.
