Godfrey,

I do not know how do you work or what is "Ofek Technologies" dedicated to, but I can't agree with you about that I'm "making too big a thing out of the issue of subclassing the framework".
I MAKE SOFTWARE to live, and support MANY applications which belong to me or I have developed to others. When you build applications with Qstart having subclassed only "the classes mentioned in the Developers' Guide" (as you have done) you will not be able to modify or add, globaly, anything on the classes you have not subclassed (the application class, the form classes, the menu classes, and so on!) It's possible that in your job you can apply a change or add a new functionality at the application level in every application that you have builded, but that is not an option in mine.
I'm not interested in start a theoretical discussion about what has and what has not to be subclassed in a third party library: you have different needs than me, that's all, and I'm here to see if I can find somebody who have had the same needs.
Thank you very much for your time.
