Thanks a lot! Of course I would love to be more helpful by keeping all pages in that reference open. Still most of them -- including all FTP samples -- are in members area.

Nevertheless one still can find many publicly available code samples, including:

Using FoxTray ActiveX control: System Tray Icon and menu attached to VFP form

How to put a horizontal text scrolling on the form (a creeping line)

Displaying animated images on FoxPro form with BitBlt and StretchBlt functions
http://www.news2news.com/vfp/?example=355

How to retrieve number of print jobs that have been queued for the printer

How to retrieve configuration data for a specified printer stored in the registry (PrinterDriverData key)
http://www.news2news.com/vfp/?example=369

HOWTO: Use the Win32 API to Access File Dates and Times
http://www.news2news.com/vfp/?example=177

Scanning a hierarchy of child windows down from the main VFP window
http://www.news2news.com/vfp/?example=261

Remotely accessing list of examples on this reference from a VFP application

and more.

Even with that limited number of freeware code you are able to understand and appreciate the extra power your FoxPro application could get through using Windows API functions. Certainly they are not a universal cure, but still worthy to try.
