Forms & Form designer
I've tried that, Fred. I've set _SCREEN.Closable = .T. everywhere I possibly can. For example, I set CLOSABLE = .T. in the form's ACTIVATE method; I set CLOSABLE = .T., call MessageBox() and then again set CLOSABLE = .T. and issue a form REFRESH(); all to no avail. Only once the form goes away- and the menu procedure that calls it (_SCREEN.Closable = .T.; DO FORM myform; _SCREEN.CLOSABLE = .T.) is the close box enabled.
I can get around it by using the WAIT WINDOW but that's considerably less attractive. I suppose the next step- in the interest of a more polished-looking finished product- is to build my own window that looks like a messagebox and show that, but that seems like more gymnastics than I (or anyone, for that matter) should have to go through.
Any other thoughts on this? Thanks again.
Henry
