I am looking at upgrading to VFP8 from VFP6 and have been delaying because of the reservations about the Install Shield in VFP7.

I found your note in the old threads and wanted some clarification.

From what I have read, ISX in VFP7 did not have an upgrade capability i.e. if the customer had data files in the original installation, these data files would be deleted by the upgrade. Is this true? And is it still true for VFP8?

I take it that you upgraded to the full blown version of ISX once you got introduced to the Limited Version. Roughly what did it cost you for the full version of ISX?
