I use VFP vs6 with Windows 95.
I tried msinet.ocx to access an ftp service over an intranet, it worked fine for small files but when I tried to download a larger file, about 150MB it lost the connection and failed, the problem is that I got no error message, the program just silently froze.
I want more control over the connection, so I would like to know how to use API functions to check wether a connection to the internet can be established and then if possible, connect to an FTP site and issue FTP commands.
