that is what I was trying to determine: whether you could open the table manually or not. If it only happens when you run the form, can you put a 'set step on' in the load of the form so you can determine at what point the error occurs?

Also, as I asked in the other message, is it actually a table, a view, or not either and VFP is mistaken? Have you verified the properties of your controls and any custom code in form methods?
