Since I don't have a premium membership here, I can't find the original post, but here is how to eliminate the password signon for W2K terminal server.

On your terminal server go to

Administrative tools ->
Terminal Services Configuruation ->
Select Connections in the left panel and right click on the connection
listed in the right panel.

Choose the Logon Settings tab and uncheck the "always prompt for
password" option

This will set it up so that the user does not have to enter a id or password if you set their client up that way.

On the pocket PC, set up the client connection with the app you want to run and enter the userid and password into the client connection.

If all this is done the user should be able to double click on the icon for the terminal server app and go right into the application.

We use this quite a lot in our data collection on our plant floor and it works quite well.
