Actually, that application was written under FoxPro DOS. Apparently systems along the tunnel generate enormous amounts of data that are stored and processed by a FoxPro DOS application. If I recall, they had to develop workarounds for the table size limitation in Foxpro as their data files were bigger, and a methodolgy for hot backups of the data since the files are in use 24/7.
