Please, please, calm down! You are nagging and complaining more then anyone I know!

I have used different Fox versions since Foxbase 1.0, I use close to all the features.

I have more than 3000 customers using the VFP8 version of my most popular program, and so far I have not had a single problem! Absolutely no problem whatsoever! With every earlier versions of VFP I had lots of problems.

If you want to wait until every error is fixed in every program you use, you will have a looooooooooong wait.

>>Some customers may be anxiously awaiting features that have already been shown in Europa and would rather have them than a fix to this bug.

>Do you have any facts to back this up? Are you saying these customers will be happy to suffer problems in their current tool (with which they make their living and upon which their reputation is based) to get features in Europa that may transpire be just as buggy, only to be told when Europa eventually ships that the latest features they waited so long for cannot be fixed because some customers *may be anxiously* waiting for newer features they have seen in a VFP10 alpha release? Some argument Craig. You need a dose of reality.

>>You say the array issue was posted yesterday. Here you are already loudly complaining about it.
>
>Nope, I mentioned the collection problem was reported yesterday by Randy, the arrays problem was from Jim. As for "loudly complaining" about it, if you check all of my posts on the UT, I have rarely complained about VFP, if ever. I realise what is driving me on here - it's just your attitude, and not the bugs. I made comments to Tamar and you jumped in on me. So, to avoid bashing the product solely because of you, I should perhaps refrain to avoid this becoming personal.

>>Are you saying that EVERY known defect in VFP8 should be fixed before starting on Europa? If so, we will never get Europa.
>
>Nope. I am saying that as much as possible should be done to ensure the current product is as robust as it can be. I am saying that bugs should not be ignored because fixing them may jeopardise the next version. That's just plain scaremongering.
