OP is Windows 98 and it happens imtermittently - usually if I reboot and run, whatever program I was running before I got the error, without opening anything else I seem not to have a repeat with the error. Now that I think about it, I really didn't start having this problem until I installed VFP 7. Could having fox 2.6 and VFP 7 cause the problem? When I get the error, I usally never have both versions open at the same time - so not sure if that is it or not.
