Sorry I'm so long in getting back. I haven't delved into doing a lot of C++ coding using SQLDMO, so if that's what they're doing, it's out of my skill envelope at this time. I mentioned earlier that a job can be set up, including scheduling, in Enterprise manager that will continue even if an event in that job fails. Given their approach to programming it though, I don't know if I can be of more help. HTH
