Alas, such is not possible. We have to be able to update at least one field in each table.
The process is complicated by the fact that the tables have a parent/child relationship with a skip set on. In many instance we will want to add a child record but not a parent record.
I do not understand how the view could know to add a record to one table but not another at TABLEUPDATE().
