Hi Hilmar,

"I suggest, however, that you have updatable fields only for one table. You can still get data from other tables, but use them for reference only."

Alas, such is not possible. We have to be able to update at least one field in each table.

The process is complicated by the fact that the tables have a parent/child relationship with a skip set on. In many instance we will want to add a child record but not a parent record.

I do not understand how the view could know to add a record to one table but not another at TABLEUPDATE().
