My experience in this particular API call is rather how to perform it. Actually before reading your initial message I did not use that UpdateResource functionality yet. In the nearest days I will try to go further with it.

Take a look at my Web site "Using Win32 functions in Visual FoxPro". It contains already substantial number of API calls, including declarations, code samples, and various techniques. Based on my previous experience that API call was not too complex to program.

Of course, not all of them are on that list, though in 90% cases I can find whatever I'm looking for.

Try other sources of information. You have mentioned Rick Strahl. Also I would recommend API structures class library of Christof Lange, download section of UniversalThread, and Fox Wiki site.
