For my project requirements, I have a quantity field, I occasionally need to display records based on reverse quantity order.

ascending - date, route, load, bay, level, quantity
descending - date, route, load, bay, level, descending quantity.

I do this by either setting the quantity to 9999-quantity for the descending.

But when I upsize to Oracle, I am finding that 9999-quantity is not allowed. Has anyone worked around this problem?
