I don't like to use views or sql in my grids. I got this one grid that shows exactly what I want it to and I am not sure how it works and tried duplicating it exactly on another form and it doesn't have the same effect on the new one. I have for example a master table with an account number, which is linked through simple relation in the data envrironment to a transaction table which may have multiple transaction per account (one to many). The grid only contains fields for the transaction table and the beautiful thing is that it only shows the account numbers (records) in the grid that correspond to the accout number on the master table where the pointer lies. I wish I could do this with other grids and have duplicated all the properties and the tables and relation to try to figure out how I got that effect, but it will not do it anywhere else. Any ideas as to how it worked on the one grid, but I can't duplicate it?
