Hi Mike:

>One consultant that I've been working favors MM, because of its .Net story. Any feedback would b appreciated.

I can only give you my impressions so here goes. I attended some of Kevin McNeish's sessions in Frankfurt last year - very good too. However, it was pretty clear to me that Kevin is very, very sold on .Net. Whilst I am sure he would say to the contrary, I just cannot see MM.Fox taking the lion's share of his interest any more. He is a C# MVP - he is all over everywhere talking about .Net, C# and MM.Net. No problems with this except that IMHO, MM.Fox will take second place in the future. So, if you are a fairly committed Fox developer, I don't think this is a great place to be. Also, there does not appear to be any form of methodology upgrade scenario so using MM.Fox will not provide any advantage with MM.Net - they are just too different (Fox and .Net). So, if you want a .Net framework, MM.Net is an obvious candidate whilst using Codemine for your Fox work.

For a Fox developer, Soft Classics is all Fox and SQL server. They develop applications using Codemine and are committed to Fox. So, you will see more significant long term development of Codemine than MM.Fox.

Just my .02c

Best
-=Gary
