I will have to try removing the TCP/IP Protocol and putting it back in. I may have even tried this at some point on a few of them, but I will try it anyways as soon as I get a few minutes to do it hun, lol. So, if ya don't mind me asking, what do you do at Agency Tech Mrs. Holzer?

Ok you say no Zenworks, but are you running NAL by anychance? If so, edit the launcher configuration setting to 'Allow User to Exit'

Also (this is a completely separate fix to try), this is going to sound crazy, but it has worked in the past:

Remove TCPIP from the workstation, reboot and then shut down the workstation. Reboot again, add TCPIP back in and configure TCPIP. Try rebooting, logging in, and shutting down again.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head...(probably about as useful as it sounds!) :0)

I have tried many versions of the client, some of them it fixed it by re-installing, but there are still a few machine that I can logout, reinstall ten different versions of the client, etc. and they still won't shut down hun. Of course one of them would be the president of the company, go figure.

We had done the mapped drives shutdown update that microsoft offers, and sometimes even logout of the network before doing the shutdown and some machines still do not shut down. Is there anything out there to fix this annoying bug?
