Hi Thomas,

>Now some people will tell you that SQL Server will “never crash”.

That isn't something you'll hear from me. No software is crash proof. BUT, how much $$$$$ do you think MSFT is investing in SQL Server to make sure it is as fast and reliable as possible? Think that kind of $$$$ is being spent on the VFP data engine?

>We did have a crash last year and it costs our company $36,000 a minute for downtime.

YIKES!!! Do you think that number would be different if you were using VFP DBFs?

I'm glad to hear SQL Server is working well for you!
