Yes I do.
It might just show a number or no number at all. It shows the progrees bar if it'd take long enough. Just think of other progress bars that windows users are accustomed to. They show a progress bar, percentage, estimetated time and remaining times. How many times did you see they did it in proposed times. I saw many times 1 second remaining meant to be several minutes.
Compared to them VFP SQL prog.bar is more than accurate.
If I did it manually to show exact percentage/timing how much overhead I'd add ? How would I calculate percentage of added overhead vice versa. IOW to be able to do that I need to know execution plan of an SQL. Would I calculate my progress per SQL I do ?
