I have had a similar problem but the report would print to the selected printer and the printer used to create the report.

I found that if you open the report .FRX as a table, the record where the field objtype = 1, there are three memos where the printer was saved that I used to create the report which are EXPR, TAG and TAG2.

EXPR is readable where TAG and TAG2 are binary of EXPR. I just cleared TAG and TAG2 and edited EXPR and the report worked.
