Your paragraph below I agree with 100%. I guess I just misinterpreted your message! I didn't receive the same impression from the UT's coverage of the session, but then I did not attend the session myself either so I can't debate what was presented or how the VFP IDE and VFP tables were portrayed.



>Please reread, I've said it many times... I think Jim is an excellent trainer. I constantly recommend him. He's a charming, funny guy as well which make him a good salesman. My problem is the bashing VFP databases with a “nothing good can ever come from using them” feel of the session. It sounds like a scare tactic approach for moving applications to SQL Server. VFP meets the needs of many businesses and is an excellent database solution. Some companies may never grow beyond VFP’s capabilities. To say VFP storage platform is dead IMP shows a lack of real-world business application development experience.
