Hi Victor,
TechnoHippie, huh? That sounds interesting. I've been told that if you can remember the 60's, then you weren't really there.
Let me ask a few detailed questions. Assuming for the moment that I must keep my backend tables as FoxPro but will make modifications later to make them SQL compatible.
Currently, I have all of my tables in one database. Do I need to change these tables to remote views?
When I establish a connection to this database, I want to save it. So I guess I need a second database to store the connection to access the application database. Is that true, or am I confused?
I have other questions, but these two will suffice for now.
Thanks a lot for your prompt response and willingness to help me out.
Fred
