>Just so you know, as per your previous message, there is no bad intention in the words being written from my part. Occasionnaly, it might happens, the best wordings might not apply. If it would be, I'd probably work in translation busines or similar. I'm also a French speaker. So, I try to do my best with that aspect of the work also. But, it is true that no matter what we do, with the amount of members we have, we always have one or multiple individuals that don't want it, want it to be changed and other related opinions. So, if we would remove or change something anytime that happened, the product wouldn't have evolved since a few years. :) I am talking generally here. This is not specific to this thread but in general to UT from the perspective of how we react. I wrote an interesting article about that last summer. It was in our magazine in July 2002 at http://www.levelextreme.com/Magazine/July2002/Page3.asp.

Michel;

Thank you for your reply. It explains a great deal.

I have been married for over 37 years. My wife spoke no English when we married – only Castilian. I have always been patient with people, especially those that are not native English speakers. Meaning, intent, intonation, body language and words can be an interesting topic. Even more so on the Internet where only 4-13% of what is written is “understood”!

On occasion my wife will say something that “does not seem like her”! My wife is a very kind and caring person. So I will ask her what she means. Finally, we discuss the choice of words and the intended message. People have to take time to better understand how to communicate. It is truly amazing what we can learn when we take the time. :)
