I agree here too, on #3 (the other 2 I don't care about), though I wasn't sure it was only me that didn't care for this feature until this thread came along.

And I am no saint, yet I feel like a real "snoop" when I click to see who's read what. I rarely do it, but even just the temptation to do it is a little annoying. We've seen some good suggestions how to improve it, like the "Anonymous" idea sounds good.
